The aluminum pole is lighter than fiberglass or wood and includes padded grips. It extends from 4.5 feet to 13 feet long so it is compact when driving to the orchard and long enough for different height trees. Larger fruit can be pulled off a tree with the picker and caught in a net. To assemble, place the included metal clamp on the bottom of the basket, place the bottom of the basket over the threaded steel end of the pole, and tighten the clamp.
